Mountain Ministries Staff
Meet our Staff!
We have a great staff team of volunteers here who serve The Lord well, love our students unconditionally, and are dedicated to each of their positions. Without them our program wouldn’t be the same, nor run as smoothly as it does.
We love our staff, and you will too!
Rick & Ashley Enquist
Directors, Scheduler, & Treasurer
Rick graduated from the program in 2023 and has been in a directors role to some capacity ever since, and Ashley became the treasurer of Mountain Ministries in 2024 shortly after they got married in October. As the director Rick’s role entails managing the men during their day to day schedule, leading by example on jobs, managing our staff team, making and keeping connections with our local churches and community, organizing and scheduling jobs for the men, one on one mentoring with students, teaching classes when needed, etc. Ashley’s role entails managing the finances of the mountain, assisting Rick in making and keeping connections in our community, running errands for the mountain to gather supplies needed, and filling in other areas when needed. Their hearts desire is to love God, love people, and create disciples!
Mechanic & Grounds Keeper
John Pitts
John graduated the program and began serving the ministry full time in 2025. Between fixing and maintaining small engines power equipment, repairing any plumbing or electrical issues that arise both on the property and various appliances, investigating into what is needed and fixing or repairing vehicles that have been donated or simply quit working in one way or another, and coming alongside the men to help keep the 35 acres we reside on in great condition; John is a huge part in what keeps this place in physical and working order. You’ll often find John under a car or truck, tearing into some type of project in small engines, running to town to gather any parts needed for repairs, spending time with the men during their down times, or on the property weedeating from sun up till sun down in the summer time!
Intake & Appointment Coordinator
Troy Stephenson
Troy graduated the program and became staff in 2019. As the intake coordinator Troy’s role entails receiving phone calls and emails from those who are interested in entering our program, going over what is required to enter, picking any new students up who need a ride up to the mountain, going through intake procedures with said students when they arrive, etc. When any kind of appointments are needed to be made, Troy helps students schedule them if assistance is needed, as well as keeps track of their appointments on our staff calendar to keep everyone in the loop! Troy is also currently our main driver who transports the men to jobs, bible studies, church, weekend passes, and takes students to various appointments.
